The agricultural industry is constantly evolving. There’s more demand than ever for livestock farming, but producing more while meeting consumers’ high standards is challenging. With biosolutions, we can transform animal health.

In December 2022, Chr. Hansen and Novozymes entered into an agreement to create a leading global biosolutions partner by combining their strengths. The goal was to unleash the potential of biological solutions and generate value for all stakeholders. The combination was completed in January 2024, and Novonesis was born.

At Novonesis, we believe solutions rooted in biology are key to tackling global challenges. Enzymes, functional proteins, and microorganisms—our planet's tiniest yet mightiest agents of change—are central to our approach. By leveraging their power with science, we create biosolutions that transform how we produce, consume, and live.

Today, 10,000 experts worldwide are part of Novonesis, working across 30 industries, including Animal & Plant Health industry!
