There are different types of tape, wire and braid in the HPSFENCE range.
And there are three criteria for determining performance.
Conductivity (resistance): how much power the product delivers and how far.
Durability: how the product stands up to wear and tear under varying environmental conditions.
Design: how the product performs long term - e.g. if a strand is broken, is it re-powered further along the fence?
Copper wire used in some fence products in highly conductive but it is not as strong as stainless steel and can ‘fatigue’, deteriorate, and break easily. Stainless steel wire is stronger but is less conductive.
